First trailer for 'Furious 7' delivers spectacular action

It's been a difficult ride for the Fast and Furious franchise since the tragic death of star actor Paul Walker. The actor died in late November 2013 and immediately threw the production of Fast and Furious 7 into chaos. Walker had not completed all of his scenes yet and the film was due eight months later. The production crew and director James Wan needed to find a way to respect Walker, but also finish the film. They ended up using Walker's brothers as body doubles to finish his scenes. The film was originally set for release on July 11, 2014, but will now debut on April 3, 2015. Here's the first trailer for the film:

The Fast and Furious franchise is one of the most dependable in Hollywood and I'm very excited for this new film. James Wan is a terrific horror director, and it looks like he has crafted some spectacular action in this film as well. The first scene in the trailer was awesome and I loved the flow and music in this trailer. Hopefully Walker also gets a great send-off in his final role. I know that some people might be thinking that this franchise is getting old, but Fast Five and Furious 6 were both extremely entertaining action flicks. I'm endlessly excited for this seventh installment. Furious 7 stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Jason Statham and Kurt Russell and will hit theaters on April 3, 2015.
