Alfonso Cuaron's "Gravity" finally to hit theaters in 2013

One of the most anticipated films that not everyone was sure would come out in 2013 has a definitive release date. And it is in 2013. Alfonso Cuaron's Gravity, a big space epic that is said to be groundbreaking from early test screenings will hit theaters on October 4, 2013. The film will share it's release date with Robert Rodriguez's Sin City: A Dame To Kill For and Paranoia. A lot of people suspect that Gravity is a truly amazing film that is just being postponed for marketing reasons. The film stars George Clooney and Sandra Bullock as astronauts who end up being lost in space when their ship malfunctions. The film is said to have an 18 minute openings shot and sounds a lot like 2001: A Space Odyssey. The film is finished and has a PG-13 rating and comes during a busy October. In addition to the films previously mentioned, Spike Lee's Oldboy remake will be released on the 11th along with an early Oscar favorite in Captain Phillips starring Tom Hanks. Also that month is The World's End, another Paranormal Activity and The Seventh Son. Maybe Argo opening in October had an effect. Gravity only has two actors and is directed by Alfonso Cuaron.
