First Look: Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt in Quentin Tarantino's 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood'

This is going to be something of a short post, but I've got a big first look to share with you. Earlier this morning on his Instagram page, Leonardo DiCaprio revealed the first official still from Quentin Tarantino's hotly-anticipated Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. While we've seen various set photos from the director's next project, this is our first full look at DiCaprio and co-star Brad Pitt in the 1969-set film. Check out the two Hollywood mega-stars in some stylish 1960s clothing!

Obviously this isn't a whole lot to go on, but this is a great little tease of DiCaprio's Rick Dalton and Pitt's Cliff Booth, two fictional characters who get caught up in a very real story. If you don't know the basic premise of Tarantino's latest, Dalton is a fading Western TV star and Booth is his stuntman. The two find themselves in the middle of the Charles Manson saga when Margot Robbie's Sharon Tate moves in next to Dalton in 1969. Tarantino has insisted that this is not a Manson movie, but the script and full story have been kept firmly under wraps.

If you know me personally or follow this site, you know that I'm incredibly excited for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. We're still well over a year away from the release date of the film, so I'm just thrilled to even get the slightest glimpse of Tarantino's next project. DiCaprio and Pitt look flat-out awesome, and I can't wait to see more.

With a cast that also includes Al Pacino, James Marsden, Dakota Fanning, Kurt Russell, Timothy Olyphant, Michael Madsen, Tim Roth, Burt Reynolds, Clifton Collins, Jr., Emile Hirsch, Damian Lewis, Luke Perry, Scoot McNairy, Zoe Bell, Nicholas Hammond, Julia Butters, Aundrea Smith, Raul Cardona, and Keith Jefferson, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood will arrive in theaters on August 9, 2019.
