Golden Globes Live Blog!

-Sorry for the delay! Blog is up now. Ricky Gervais is slaying it so far. This is getting dicey.

-Gervais really doesn't care. He really doesn't care. That was some pretty interesting stuff. Cut right into Hollywood.

-Kate Winslet wins Best Supporting Actress for Steve Jobs. Somewhat surprising, but I'm very happy with that win. Deserving film and I hope that it continues to win awards over the season.

-Someone from The Affair won Best Supporting Actress in a TV show. I'm not really paying attention to the TV categories (besides hoping that Fargo and Narcos win). Still having some issues with this blog. Stay tuned.

-It was Maura Tierney! That was her name. Sorry about that. Congrats to The Affair and Tierney. The Globes seem to really love that show.

-Rachel Bloom wins Best Actress in a TV Series- Comedy for Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. Never heard of the show.

-Mozart in the Jungle wins Best Comedy TV series. Another show I've never heard of. I'm out of the loop when it comes to this TV stuff.

-Viola Davis is talking about Carol. You need to see this movie. It's so good. So, so good.

-I forgot that the TV awards were a thing.

-The President of the Hollywood Foreign Press has gotta be loving Ricky Gervais tonight. Man.

-The Ben Affleck intro joke. Oh wow. I....don't even have anything to say there.

-Fargo and American Crime Story got trumped? What just happened.

-Wolf Hall wins Best TV miniseries. Big shocker there. This has been unpredictable.

-Every actor on stage seems wasted. Best Actor in a Miniseries is up next.

-Oscar Isaac wins for Show Me A Hero! Yay! Oscar Isaac!

-Jason Statham, Melissa McCarthy and Paul Feig are talking about Spy. He's so funny in that movie. My favorite true comedy of the year.

-He put Paul Feig in a headlock. This show is always so weird.

-Someone just said Jason Statham for the 2017 Oscars. I would be so down for that

-Christian Slater wins for Mr. Robot. Was hoping for Ben Mendelsohn, but there's gonna be a lot of love for Mr. Robot tonight.

-Lily James and Jamie Foxx are on stage for Best Original Score. Ennio Morricone. That is all.

-Ennio Morricone wins for The Hateful Eight. I'm so happy. Thank you HFPA.

-Can Quentin Tarantino host an awards show? Please.

-First Trump joke of the night!

-Jon Hamm wins for the final season of Mad Men. Very deserving honor.

-Charlie Sheen joke- check!

-Gonna be some interesting talk about Quentin Tarantino's speech. Think he may have misspoke.

-Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence wouldn't be a bad host pairing either. If they would do it.

-Amy Adams is here to give Matt Damon his award. Big shocker if Christian Bale or Steve Carell win.

-Matt Damon wins Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical for The Martian.

-Damon's speech was great. Love The Martian. Love Damon's performance.

-This whole Martian comedy thing is pretty funny, I gotta say.

-Kurt Russell and Kate Hudson are here to present for Best Animated Film. Inside Out better win.

-Inside Out wins! Yes! Such a phenomenal film.

-Ryan Gosling and Brad Pitt are here to talk about the amazing The Big Short.

-J.K. Simmons and Patricia Arquette have taken the stage. Throwback to last year.

-Sylvester Stallone should win here.

-And he does! Stallone wins with the first standing ovation of the night.

-That gave me chills. I can't wait to see Stallone win the Oscar. That needs to happen.

-What is with late-night comedy actors doing Goodfellas parodies?

-Ferrell and Wahlberg are here to give out the Screenplay award. They've got glasses on. Really bizarre.

-This comes down to Spotlight and The Big Short.

-Loving the Steve Jobs upset there. Terrific script. Sorkin truly deserves it. Am I crazy, or.......could Fassbender top Leo?

-And the love for Mozart in the Jungle continues......Gael Garcia Bernal wins for Best Actor.

-I don't even know what that show is. Kinda weird if you ask me.

-Gerard Butler and Helen Mirren are here to present the award for Best Foreign Language Film. Son of Saul should win here.

-And it does indeed take the win. I'm very excited to finally see that film when it comes out in February.

-The Brangelina joke was pretty hysterical. Kevin Hart and Ken Jeong are always funny and they definitely didn't see it coming.

-Stallone thanked Coogler and Jordan very shortly after they went to commercial. Rest easy, film twitter.

-Katy Perry is presenting Best Song in a Motion Picture. This better be "See You Again"

-That song was instantly iconic.

-This is getting a bit insane at the Globes. Sam Smith wins for "Writing's on the Wall," y'know, that Spectre song that nobody really liked all that much.

-Mel Gibson is on stage......and, it's getting crazy. He's talking about my favorite movie of the year though.

-Mr. Robot wins for Best TV Series- Drama. I was hoping for Narcos, but not surprised.

-Lifetime achievement award is up next. Ugh. This thing has gotta start moving.

-Despite the cold, this is a really good speech by Hanks. This is pretty good, even though I hate lifetime achievement awards.

-Denzel has never been bad in a movie. He's been in bad movies, but he's never been bad.

-Now back to the awards. Be prepared, This could get wild.

-Best Director is up now! Please be George Miller or Ridley Scott.

-Alejandro G. Inarritu wins Best Director at the Golden Globes for The Revenant. I'm stunned.

-Jennifer Lawrence wins for Joy. Not surprised. Was thinking Schumer, but the HFPA loves Lawrence.

-Four more awards left. I think.

-Jim Carrey is here to present the award for Best Motion Picture- Comedy or Musical. Big Short and Martian are facing off which could get very interesting.

-The Martian takes it! Upsets The Big Short. Kinda crazy. But I'm happy about that.

-This show needs to wrap up. Kinda getting tired of this craziness. None of these awards have made sense.

-Eddie Redmayne is here to give out the Best Actress award. Who knows who'll win at this point?

-Brie Larson wins for Room. Definitely the most deserving there. That's a sensible choice by the HFPA.

-And the march to the Oscar for Leonardo DiCaprio continues. He wins Best Actor in a Drama for The Revenant. Standing ovation ensues.

-Final award of the night. This should be Spotlight, but after The Revenant's surprise success tonight, nothing would surprise me.

-Harrison Ford goes rogue and gives the award to Star Wars.

-Yup, Revenant wins. Goodbye. That's it. I'm done.

Hope you enjoyed the live blog. I quit Oscar season.
