The Muppets 2 looks like it is rushing head on into production as the main roles that need to be cast are being filled. Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained star Christoph Waltz is in talks to join the sequel which will be set in Europe. Waltz would play an Interpol agent. Other major roles are apparently being filled. Jason Segel will not return but James Bobin and Nicholas Stoller will return to direct and write, respectively. The Muppets 2 (tentative title) will be released in 2013 or 2014.
