G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra was a modest hit in 2009, but nobody seemed to care for the film. Well, Paramount decided what they needed to do for the sequel: bring in a new director along with Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson; get rid of most of the original cast, have less Channing Tatum and more realistic action and you have a better movie. Granted that I never saw the original, this one looks pretty good, with a lot more action and less humor. Dwayne Johnson is perfect to star in the film and reducing Channing Tatum (maybe killing him?) to a minor role. We'll see how it works out when G.I. Joe: Retaliation is released on June 29, 2012. Retaliation stars Dwayne Johnson, Channing Tatum, Bruce Willis, Ray Stevenson, Adrianne Palicki, and Ray Park.
