It's the most anticipated movie for 2012 and one of the most anticipated in history. It is the epic end of Christopher Nolan's massively successful trilogy. And after playing before Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, it's finally hit the internet. The Dark Knight Rises trailer is here. The trailer showcases a lot more than the announcement trailer did back in July and shows off a lot of intriguing and awesome material. Check out the trailer below.
Anything that I was previously skeptical about in the film has been put to rest with this trailer. Bane looks completely amazing and while the voice is kind of hard to understand, it's epic at the same time. Anne Hathaway looks pitch-perfect as Selina Kyle/Catwoman. Any doubts I had about her in the role
are gone. Both Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon-Levitt look to have interesting characters as Miranda Tate and John Blake that I think will be important to the film. The set-up and the special effects look spectacular; especially the Batwing. There are plenty of things to get excited about and I'm sure Nolan won't disappoint. The Dark Knight Rises opens on July 20 and stars Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Matthew Modine, Anne Hathaway, and Juno Temple.
